Two properties, and the wrong one would be a shame

They are an hour apart and they are not interchangeable. One is for being unreachable. The other is for having everyone in the same house. Answer whatever is relevant below and the two will separate.

Deep Creek · Sleeps six · three king rooms

Naiko Retreat

You want to be genuinely alone. A cliff, a private beach, a wood fire, four walking trails and a spaceship — and no shop for thirty-five minutes.

It sits on a steep hill above a beach, at the end of six kilometres of dirt. Not the easiest place to bring a toddler, and it cannot sleep more than six.

Encounter Bay · Sleeps ten · four bedrooms

Naiko at the Bluff

You need room. Two bedroom wings, a bunk room for four, a pool, and Whalers a five-minute walk down the hill when nobody wants to cook.

It is private, not remote. If the appeal is that there is nothing and nobody for miles, that is the other one.

Answer a few and the two will separate. If they don't, either would suit you, and the question becomes which dates are free.

Plotted from real coordinates, so the bearings and the distances between points hold. The coastline is deliberately not drawn — approximating the shape of a real place and presenting it as a map is how maps start lying.

Two houses, one coastline

They are close enough that people do both in a week and far enough apart that they are not the same holiday. The Retreat is at the end of the peninsula with the last six kilometres unsealed. The Villa is ten minutes above Victor Harbor, with a bakery, a pub and a beach in walking distance of the car.
