Ask us anything before you book
Whether the track suits your car, whether your youngest will be alright, whether the whales will be there in the week you are coming. Someone who knows will answer.

Both houses take a two-night minimum and both discount 15% at three nights or more, so the answer often depends on the shape of the trip rather than the calendar. Say what you are hoping for and we will tell you which house, which week, and whether it is worth adding a night.
Naiko Retreat
333 Rarkang Road, Deep Creek SA 5204
114km from the Adelaide CBD, and under two hours — though you should allow longer, because the last stretch is worth slowing down for. The final six kilometres are unsealed, with a single-lane track down to the retreat itself. Arrive in daylight if you can.
Most guests stop at Yankalilla — Drakes for groceries, the bakery for bread. If you would rather not drive at all, Helivista fly in from Adelaide Airport, and Off Piste 4WD Tours will collect you and stop at McLaren Vale on the way.
Naiko at the Bluff
28 Jagger Road, Encounter Bay SA 5211
About 80 minutes from Adelaide. Head south on the Southern Expressway and Main South Road toward Victor Harbor. At the big roundabout on the edge of town — Urimbirra Wildlife Park on your right — take the third exit onto Welch Road, which becomes Armstrong Road.
Stay on Armstrong for about 8.5km, bypassing the town centre. Turn left onto Battye Road, take the second exit at the small circle, then left onto Jagger Road. Number 28 is on your right. Self check-in from 3pm.
